A free alarm clock in your browser

Set one or more alarms, choose the days they repeat and the sound they make, and snooze or stop them when they ring.

New alarm

Repeat

This is a web page, not your phone’s alarm. It can only ring while this tab is open and your computer is awake, with the volume up. For anything important, set a backup alarm too.

Setting an alarm

Choose a time, or tap one of the quick buttons to ring in a few minutes. Leave the days blank for a one-off alarm that switches itself off after ringing, or pick days for one that repeats, such as weekdays at 7:00. Name it so you know what it’s for when it goes off.

Snooze and sounds

When an alarm rings, the screen shows its name in large type with Snooze and Stop. Snooze rings again after the time you chose. Each alarm can use its own sound; all of them are made by your browser on the spot, so there is nothing to download. Press Test sound to check your volume.

What to know before relying on it

A browser tab can’t wake a sleeping computer or ring after it has been closed, so keep the tab open and the computer awake. If the alarm time passes while the computer is asleep, it rings when it wakes, unless more than 30 minutes have gone by. Alarms are saved only in this browser and nothing is sent anywhere.
