A Pomodoro timer, without the clutter

Twenty-five minutes of focus, five minutes of rest, and a longer break after every fourth session. Start it, pick your task, and let the timer keep time.

How the Pomodoro method works

Pick one task. Work on it for 25 minutes without switching. Take a 5 minute break. Repeat, and after four focus sessions take a longer break of 15 to 30 minutes. The short, fixed sessions make it easier to start, and the breaks stop tiredness from building up.

Make it yours

Change the minutes to suit the work. Many people prefer 50 minutes of focus with a 10 minute break for deep work, or 15 and 3 when a task feels hard to start. Your settings and today's count are remembered in this browser.
