Fill in and sign a PDF, right in your browser

Type into form fields, add your signature, initials, text, dates and check marks, then download the finished PDF. Everything happens on this device, so contracts and forms stay private.

or drop it anywhere on this page

How to sign a PDF

Open your PDF and choose Signature. Draw it with your mouse, finger or stylus, type your name and pick a style, or upload a photo of your signature. It appears on the page you are viewing, where you can drag it into place and resize it from the corner. Then download the signed PDF.

Filling in PDF forms

If the PDF has fillable fields, they are highlighted so you can click and type straight into them, tick boxes and pick from lists. For forms without fields, such as a scanned page, use Text to type anywhere on the page, and Check mark to tick boxes.

By default the filled fields are locked into the page when you download, so the answers can't be changed by accident. Untick that option to keep the form editable.

Is this a legal signature?

In many countries a typed or drawn signature on a document is accepted as an electronic signature for everyday agreements such as leases, permission slips and work forms. Some documents need a certified digital signature or a wet signature instead, so check with whoever asked you to sign if you are unsure.

Privacy

Your files never leave this device. The PDF, your signature and everything you type stay in your browser and are not stored anywhere. When you close the page, they are gone.
