About kittybin
kittybin is an independent studio in Canada making free tools for everyday digital work: documents, photos, video, writing, code, numbers, QR codes and launching on the web.
Why it exists
Converting a file or making a QR code shouldn’t mean uploading private documents to a stranger’s server, sitting through ads, or finding out at the end that the result is watermarked. kittybin does those jobs properly, inside your own browser, and then gets out of the way.
What we promise
- Your files stay on your device. Tools do their work in your browser.
- No ads, and no trackers, ever.
- No account needed to use a tool.
- The everyday tools stay free.
- Plain words about what each tool can and can’t do.
How it’s organised
Tools do one job each, and live in eight products: kittybin PDF, Studio, Write, Dev, AI, Math, QR and Launch. Apps bring a product’s tools together in one workspace, and kits are ready-made packs of files for builders.
How we build
Every tool is tested before it ships, held to one quality standard, and kept up to date. New tools and improvements are listed in the changelog, and many start as a suggestion.
