From a product list to printed labels
Export your products from your till, shop or stock spreadsheet as CSV or Excel, or paste the rows. The tool finds the name, price, old price, barcode, size and code columns by their headings, and you can change any of them. Each label gets the name, a large price, a barcode that scanners read, and the price per 100 g, kg, litre or item when a size is given.
Questions
Which label sheets does it fit?
Common A4 sheets with 65, 24, 21 or 8 labels and Letter sheets with 30, 10 or 6 labels, plus shelf strips for plain paper. They match the usual sizes sold by Avery and other makers. Print a test page on plain paper first and hold it against a label sheet to check the line-up.
What barcodes can it print?
EAN-13, UPC-A and EAN-8 for retail product numbers, checked digit by digit, and Code 128 for your own stock codes. If a product number has a wrong check digit you will see a warning, so you can fix it before printing.
How do I use a half-used sheet?
Set Skip labels already used to the number of labels already peeled off, counting across each row from the top left. Printing starts at the next free label.
How do I show a sale?
Add a column called Was, Old price or RRP. When it is higher than the price, the old price is shown crossed out above the new one.
