Writing reusable comments
Write each comment once, in your own voice, and put {name} where the student’s name should go. Type the name at the top and every comment shows it filled in. Group comments into categories such as Praise, Next steps, Structure or Referencing, and use search to find the right one quickly.
Using them while marking
Copy puts a single comment on your clipboard, ready to paste into a PDF annotation, a learning platform or a report. Add collects several comments in the box on the right, so you can build full feedback for one student and copy it in one go. The comments you use most rise to the top when you sort by most used.
Keeping and sharing your bank
Save a copy downloads your whole bank as a small file, which you can import on another device or share with colleagues. CSV opens in a spreadsheet. Imported comments are added to your bank, and exact duplicates are skipped.
